01 - About

Character, Craft
& Community.

Gilly Gonzalez has called Jupiter, Florida home for over 30 years. His wife Katie and daughters Emilia and Violet are South Florida natives, and that depth of roots shapes everything about how he leads a racquet sports program. For Gilly, the courts are community.

His foundation is classical, player-centered, and anchored in high-performance standards. He brings executive discipline to every dimension of a modern multi-racquet portfolio: seamlessly integrating tennis, pickleball, and padel while elevating staff performance, retail operations, court assets, and member satisfaction.

Twelve consecutive years leading the program at one of Jupiter's most respected private clubs reflect a commitment to building long-term value, navigating board governance, overseeing operational budgets, and directing facility enhancements.

Known for high-touch concierge matchmaking, principled composure, and decisive diplomacy. Raised in a family where art and sport were equally revered, that breadth of character runs through everything he does.

What sets him apart

Multi-racquet mastery (Tennis, Pickleball & Padel)  ·  P&L & CapEx facility management  ·  Board & committee reporting  ·  Concierge member matching & diplomacy  ·  Comprehensive staffing, programming & retail

02 - Philosophy

Gilly González on court

"Brilliant at the Basics."

Every program Gilly designs starts from an unyielding standard: consistency over flash, fundamentals over shortcuts. Formed at Nick Bollettieri’s Tennis Academy at IMG and the Evert Tennis Academy in Boca Raton, his leadership is rooted in the conviction that elite performance and world-class club operations both depend on mastering the core discipline.

That foundation governs how he scales a modern multi-racquet department. From technical clinic design and high-performance junior pathways to court maintenance protocols and retail management, every operational detail reflects deliberate intent. Crucially, he applies this discipline to multi-sport integration, fostering synergy between tennis, pickleball, and padel communities rather than competing priorities.

Ultimately, Gilly treats the racquets department as the cultural engine of the club. He recruits and mentors staff to lead with character, humility, and high-touch hospitality, ensuring every member, from casual players to seasoned competitors, feels recognized, challenged, and invested in the community.

"An athlete must face the truth about themselves while simultaneously believing in themselves." - Interview for La Palma newspaper, September 2004
